One of my favorite memories while living in France is going into a Patisserie and looking at the macaroon display. Every color imaginable was in it! It was almost like looking at a painter’s palette. I wanted to dye a yarn that was like looking into a small box of about 6 macaroons that you just can’t help but want to dive into, and wow this yarn came out just right!
This hand-dyed sock yarn is a deliciously soft and squishy blend of 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, and 5% Stellina. It is difficult to tell in the photo, but there is a subtle sparkle that is extra magical.
This yarn is superwash and can be put through the machine. I still recommend only washing on gentle cycle and cool water to make your knits last as long as possible. Oh, and dry flat of course!
Please keep in mind that all hand dyes are a little different and that is what makes them beautiful. Additionally, monitor colors can vary.
