The first time I dyed this colorway was right before we were leaving Central Oregon. I had been looking up at the beautiful evening sky there. Being out in the middle of the woods certainly has its advantages, like little pollution- light or otherwise! I could just see the sky in yarn, the faintest blue at the horizon and stars peaking out of the purple veil of night.
As a blend of 70% Baby Alpaca and 30% Silk, this luxurious hand dyed yarn is perfect for your next shawl or sweater. Plus, with 880 yards per skein, you can totally get a shawl with just one!
When it’s time to wash, seriously take care of this amazing yarn. I recommend using a wool soak and follow the hand washing instructions on the soak (my favorite are the kind you don’t have to rinse), and dry flat.
Please keep in mind that all hand dyed are a little different and that is what makes them beautiful. Additionally, monitor colors can vary.
